Get a Weekly Reliability Report with Noz

SigNoz Cloud - This page applies to SigNoz Cloud editions.

You want a read on how your team's services held up this week without building a report by hand. You ask Noz to summarize error and latency across your top services and flag what is slipping.

Prerequisites

  • A SigNoz Cloud account with Noz available.
  • Several services sending traces or metrics to SigNoz.

Step 1: Ask for the summary

Open Noz from the top-right header and ask for the weekly read:

Give me an error and latency summary for our top services this week.

Noz aggregates error rate and p99 latency per service over the week and returns a ranked summary, so you see the health of the whole fleet in one answer.

Step 2: Find what is slipping

Which of these services has gotten less reliable compared to last week?

Noz compares this week against the previous week per service and flags the ones whose error rate or latency moved in the wrong direction. From there, ask Noz to drill into the worst regressor (for the service that regressed most, what's driving it?), with Suggested Actions to keep investigating.

Tips

  1. Set the window. Name "this week" or "the last 30 days" so the summary covers the period you report on.
  2. Let the comparison route you. Drill into the service Noz flags as regressing instead of reviewing all of them.

Under the Hood

To answer, Noz works through several agentic steps, visible under Worked through N steps:

StepWhat It Did
Ran builder queryAggregated error rate and p99 latency per service for the week
Ran builder queryCompared this week against the previous week per service
ReasonedRanked services by reliability change and flagged regressions
